Oh. My. Stars. I have a blog! Well, I am not sure what to write about today... but I do know that I will be working to keep this up to date with projects, musings, and reports of my life and my activities.
For those of you who don't know me, let me expand on the "About Me" section of this blog page. I am a wife, a mother to 4 furkids that you will be reading a LOT about in the days to come, a nurse, and a lot of things to a lot of people. All of this is balled up with the fact that I am a Creative Memories consultant who finds herself at a crossroads in her life, and is just trying to figure out from one step to the next which step will land me on solid ground... and which one will land me on quicksand!
This week I am spending time with my darling, darling husband, Scott. He is staying away from us right now while he goes through training for his job, and if he's successful, he will be deployed to Afghanistan for a year. That is all I can really say as I don't want his life placed in any more danger than it will be. Just for now, knowing that I am so incredibly proud of him, for how far he's come in the last 7 years, is enough to keep me going. We have dreams of having our own farm someday, hopefully on Whidbey Island off the coast of WA state, and these sacrifices we are making to make that dream a reality are what keeps us going as a couple.
While we are together, we talk about our plans for the future, we hold each other, we spend time together, we will get to see my two of my best friends. I am sooo excited to see them, and I am trying very hard not to count days until I have to go back to WA state alone. Obviously, I don't want this time to end. :)
